Our award-winning Edge Brownie Pan was a big idea, but this one is BIGGER! (By 50%, in fact). It's our brand new Simple Lasagna Pan, and it's a smarter way to bake and serve everyone's favorite Italian dish.
In a conventional pan, lasagna can get messy in a hurry. After a few servings are removed, the layers slump and the noodles slide... and what's left in the pan starts to look a lot less appetizing (You'll know you're in trouble when your dinner guests put down their forks and reach for their spoons). Our Simple Lasagna Pan solves this problem by keeping the noodles and layers neatly stacked, regardless of how many portions are removed. Each serving of lasagna is held in place by the pan's inner walls, so even the last bite will look (and taste) as good as the first. The single baking chamber allows sauces to flow evenly throughout the pan, and the durable nonstick coating releases even the stickiest foods with ease. Lasagna also bakes more consistently in the Simple Lasagna Pan because more heat is distributed to the pan's middle, where food typically takes longer to bake. The nonstick pan is constructed of hard-anodized cast aluminum for superior durability, and it's 100% made in the USA. Each pan comes complete with a custom nylon spatula and lasagna recipes insert.

Talk about building a better mouse trap, this pan is INCREDIBLE!
I have a few vegans in my family, and I've always tried to accomodate them, but it also meant using way too many pans.
This pan actually makes lasagna a one-pan task. It cooks more evenly than my 9x15 pan, and it actually takes less time to cook.
Hats off to whoever thought up this gem!

I thought I had my Lasagna recipe perfected just the way I like it. It couldn't be any better. Then while visiting my in-laws I saw this odd looking pan and asked what it was for. When they said lasagna pan I thought, they make a pan just for lasagna. My in-laws swore by the pan and explained its concept for creating an evenly cooked lasagna throughout and not falling apart in the middle. So I borrowed the pan and built my personal masterpiece of lasagna heaven. Man were they right. My lasagna tasted the same from the first bite to the last. The middle was cooked to the same perfection as the outer edges because the whole thing had edges. Let's face it, the edges is the best part of the lasagna. I now have my own Lasagna pan along with the Brownie Pan these guys sell as well. Both pans are great. Can't believe no one thought of this concept sooner.

First, I am more comfortable making kuchen bread, saurkraut and German potato salad. Therefore, since much of my cooking experience has been based on my German heritage, I must admit that attempting other ethnic dishes has always made me feel inadequate as a cook.
However, when Baker's Edge came out with the Simple Lasagna Pan, I thought here was my chance to broaden my cooking experience. I already knew I could trust the quality of the lasagna pan as I had purchased the Edge Brownie Pan a couple of years ago. As soon as I received my lasagna pan, I tried Chef Emily's "Quick and Delicious Lasagna." Just as the product insert stated, the patented shape made it "simple" to prepare and layer, and it baked beautifully! There was no problem with an undercooked center or burnt edges since the pan design allowed the lasagna to cook evenly. I served the lasagna for a buffet style meal and the lasagna did hold together as promised even when my guests served themselves! An added bonus for a buffet was that the lasagna stayed hotter much longer due to the heavy interior sidewalls of the cast aluminum construction.
After my first success, I have now tried both the "Roasted Vegetable Lasagna" and the "Ultimate Lasagna." Both recipes were unique and exceptionally good! Thanks to Baker's Edge and Chef Emily, I think even my Italian friends will be impressed with my new culinary skills.
On a final note, I recommend viewing all the images of the pan on Amazon. I was especially impressed with the "simple" yet elegant box. It would present well as a gift!

I was already familiar with Bakers Edge because of their wonderful Nonstick Edge Brownie Pan I purchased last year, so I was anxious to try out the Simple Lasagna Pan. In fact it was less than 6 hours from delivery from Amazon to delicious lasagna being served on my dinner table.
My first step was to read the care & use guide, along with the recipes that were listed. Although I have my own recipe for lasagna, I knew that I might have to adjust it based on this pan. The only thing that surprised me was the use of uncooked noodles. I have used Barilla's "No-Bake" noodles before, but this required regular uncooked noodles. Otherwise the recipe suggestions were very close to my own.
After I had my sauce ready, I began assembling my lasagna. The pan allows for 3 layers of noodles, sauce and whichever cheeses you use. Once assembled it says to cover it with foil that has been sprayed down with non-stick spray to prevent the cheese from sticking. Then you are to bake it at 375° for 55 minutes covered, 10-15 uncovered and then let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
Now for the most important part, the results! The lasagna was great, but that was expected. For me what this pan is about is the ease of making it, presentation and clean up. Not surprisingly it aced all three! Putting it together took half the time, with the included spatula it was easy to remove and looked beautiful and clean up was fast - NO Soaking or Scrubbing! I did add several pictures in the customer images so that you can see the pan in action.
Now that I'm done making lasagna, I keep thinking about the endless possibilities with this pan: Meatloaf, Baked Mac & Cheese, Deep Dish Cheesecake Bars, the list goes on. My daughter also just made the suggestion that I can do her vegetarian lasagna (which she prefers) in one channel of the pan and make regular in the other three - what a great and idea! I can honestly say this pan is worth every penny.

I bought this company's first product (the Edge Brownie Pan) about a year ago. We absolutely love it (I use it weekly), but the 9" x 12" x 2" size sort of limits its usefulness to brownies, bar cookies, rice krispy treats, and similar desserts. When I discovered this new pan in a gourmet catalog a few weeks ago, I bought it entirely on impulse -- simply because it's much larger in size. After a week of use, I'm a little surprised that Baker's Edge didn't introduce THIS pan first. The zig-zag design is so perfectly suited to lasagna, it makes you wonder why the biggest brands in bakeware continue to make plain rectangular pans. Creamette and Barilla box noodles fit like a glove, and the pan's partitions keep those slithery layers and noodles together when you're plating. (Genius.) It's a heavy pan, so get a good grip on it when cleaning. And be sure to use the spatula that comes with it... the shape is a little odd-looking, but once you use it the unconventional design makes perfect sense. Overall, I've been thrilled with this pan. It performs at least as well as advertised, and significantly better than any other lasagna pan in my kitchen.
