I like the shape of this spatula. It is plenty long enough and very sturdy. The handle is not too bulky and the ring is nice for hanging. It is very well made and should last a long time. It can also be used to slide under a cut piece of pie or cake sitting on a flat surface.

It's getting hard to find a decent spatula at the grocery store, one that has a smooth head for scraping out a bowl, and a nice strong handle. This is it! I own two of these spatulas - one in white, one in blue - and they are fantastic.



The manufacturer asks you to remove the head for the dishwasher, which is a bit of an annoyance, but the spatulas are still going strong after hard kitchen use. I oil the handles when I do my chopping blocks, so they really look nice.



For about $4, I don't think you'll find anything better - and I haven't been impressed by any of the $12 spatulas.

I found a pair of these at Tuesday Morning recently and bought them on a whim (for much less;). I like the color of blue but since I saw them before the purchase, I knew what I was getting in that regard. Buying online is always a risk on color, monitors and descriptions don't communicate accurately.

And of course, I saw the size. To be fair, the size should be listed in the description. They are wonderful for what I wanted. I have serious arthritis in my hands and have a lot of trouble opening jars and bottles. These work great for that because they have just enough flexibility. They are also just the right size to use to handle removing a hot stoneware bowl from the microwave and a hot pan from the toaster oven.

I am buying at least two more pairs for myself and some for gifts. Even would be willing to pay more and take a color that may not match in my kitchen. I will keep them in different locations around the kitchen because I will use them often.

This turner is too thick to get under the food and too flexible also. Feels good in the hand, but to what use? The other silicone Orka items are ok, but you have to keep in mind that the handles are not that strong. I broke one spoon stirring some cold mac and cheese - of course that would be hard on any spoon.

I use to own a similar tool years ago & would frequently wished I had it. This is a great replacement! I've only had it for a few weeks, but have used it many times. I made pies from scratch for Thanksgiving & this spatula made it so much easier to loosen the rolled-out dough & help lift it onto pie plates. Great size for lifting smaller cookies off the pan or lifting smaller cuts of cake, etc. It is more versatile in the kitchen than a butter knife for things like loosening the edges of a cake from the sides of a pan & then using it to serve pieces. An all-around great kitchen item. I never soak the handle in water & keep the wooden handle oiled periodically as I do with all my wooden cutting boards, bowls, handles, etc. to keep them from cracking or drying out. Very well made product that will last for years.

I was very impressed with the quality of the blade on this spatula. I bought it to replace a similar Wilton spatula and it makes the Wilton one seem flimsy. The inferior spatula - not one of humankind's most pressing problems, but for a serious cook like myself, it's a joy to finally have a spatula that meets my criteria:

1.) A spatula head that doesn't separate from the handle, leaving an open, dark, narrow recess that causes me to constantly wonder, "What's growing in there? How am I supposed to keep this clean?"

2.) A heat-resistant spatula I can actually cook with, not reserve exclusively for scraping dregs from bowls.

3.) A dishwasher-worthy spatula whose wooden handle doesn't deteriorate into splinters long before its head is dead.

4.) A spatula whose head is flexible enough (but not too flexible :-) to do thorough scraping in the far reaches of a blender or deep jar.

With these 4 criteria met, I would be satisfied, but Orka All-Silicone Spatulas are beautifully weight-balanced so they feel good in my hand, and are easy to use. There are other spatulas with a "spoon" head for larger jobs, but combining the "spoon" with Orka's other features adds to its usefulness. Orka spatulas also add a bright touch of color to the container of utensils on my counter. I give these spatulas as gifts and get glowing feedback. "Glowing" and spatula? I love the Analon soft-feel utensils for their easy, soft grip and solid build. The bottom half inch or so of the 'bowl" part of this spatula is floppy, while the rest is stiff. Amazon carries several of these turners. I like this and the small slotted I also bought so well that I need to finish off my collection with the fish turner, large slotted, and wok turner.

I have several spatulas. I didn't realize before it was an addiction, but I guess it is :-) I love this one, because it is not as flexible at the tip. I make tomago using a non stick tomago pan, and I really need a stiff spatula to roll the tomago back and forth as I make it in the pan. This spatula is perfect for that! And it's nice for other things too, but I cannot tell you how long I looked for a thin, yet stiff, turner. Clearly we are all looking for different things in our spatulas, but this is my "go to" spatula for non-stick pans.
