It's a good cake cutter. But it limits you to cut each piece to a certain maximum size. If you'd like to cut a big piece of cake, you still have to cut with an ordinary knife. Overall i still like it.

Great for round cakes. Cuts cleanly and removes slices without messing up the rest of the cake. I recommend this.

It's simple logic: If you secure a cake slice, it can't fall apart. It's super-secure for 2-layer cakes. It barely grasps 3-layer cakes, but it helps serve them nevertheless. I'm going to have to see if the manufacturer has a larger model to handle cakes with more than 2 layers.



The handles are composed of some cheap plastic, and the connection to the steel cutter seems dubious and easily breakable, but I still give it 5 stars because it works so well.

Perhaps mine was a fluke, but the first time I used this, the handle broke off. The other side broke on the next try. Was very disappointed, but have seen a friend use a plastic version that I am currently looking for.
