 "The perfect housewarming gift" 2008-12-01
By Veggiechiliqueen
This 7-piece utensil set with enameled stoneware crock is a perfect housewarming gift or a great starter investment for students heading off to college. To be honest, I mostly wanted the set for the utensil crock, as I have searched unsuccessfully for one large enough and sturdy enough to hold my everyday whisks and spatulas, and the Le Creuset stoneware crock is large enough to double as a makeshift vase or wine cooler (the stoneware cools down quickly) in a pinch. The utensils are extraordinarily handy, particularly if you're always having to hunt for a spatula (or can't find one that's the right size). They're perfect for nonstick cookware, and withstand up to 800-degree heat. The silicone heads are detachable for (fairly) easy cleaning. The only thing that would have made this set perfect was the inclusion of a silicone whisk, a necessity for stirring sauces and liquid ingredients in nonstick saucepans. Otherwise, this is a great value, and you're sure to get years of use from the included spatulas.

Great spatulas, good for high temps, easy to clean! My only advice is make sure u seperate the plastic from the wood when u wash it cuz if u leave the plastic part on the water will get into the crack and rot the wood.

 "Huge" 2009-09-14

Very nice, but it's gigantic and of little use for a small kitchen. Had to return it. (Note: there are two different sizes available-this one is about 7" wide x 7.5" high)

I had ordered this product for Mother's Day for my Mom and Grandmother. I selected the overnight shipping and the special shipping that was offered by Amazon. The products did not make it to either one. I called and was told that they were out of the product. I was told I could get a discount for waiting. I agreed and told my Mom and Grandmother they would be late. I then was out of town and when I came back had found out my order had been canceled. I had already told my family what they were getting so I ended up reordering. NOT A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE!

"Required if you own Le Creuset cookware" 2009-02-07

Very useful pieces that are wonderfully easy to clean. When washing, I recommend always removing the wood pieces from the tops so as to scrub the points of connection on the wooden handles as well. Have used these daily for over a year now, with no issues. They remain the shame shade of deep, bright, beautiful red despite daily use and wash.

I cook only with Le Creuset cookware and use only these utensils to protect the cookware.

I love these! They are about the best spatula's I have ever had. I have been using them for over two years and they have yet to get that sticky feeling you get from the low end store's rubber scrapers.

Im not overly fond of the spatula with the holes in it. Food gets in there and it tends to be a pain to wash. The only time I use it is for really really thin liquids.

I have had no problems with melting. In fact, one of my spatulas fell onto my glass top stove burner for a few seconds and there wasn't even a scorch on it.

I bought these because I liked my Mom's set but when I got them they were bigger than her spatulas. The spatulas were flimsy and you wouldn't be able to scrape out anything thicker than pancake batter. I was very disappointed in the quality and returned them.
