 "the ideal spatula" 2009-06-30
By R. Cummings
I have only had these spatulas for a short time but I like them a lot. They are not too floppy and not too stiff. The pointy part is great for scraping in corners. These also seem to be much more durable than your average spatula. I have always hated to spend lots of money on these because they don't last long - but when I spend a bit more they do last longer, so it's worth it.

"great set of silicone spatulas" 2009-12-29
By NewlyWed (Pittsburgh PA)
I had bought this set of utensils to match my Rachel Ray pots and pans. I have had these for almost a year, and they still look like new! They can handle high heat, they do not stain, and there is a good variety with the sizes! I bought the spoonula set, nylon turner set, spatula set & tong set back when they did a 4 for 3 promo and I love them all! I have used the spatulas even in hot molten candy and they held up perfectly. Def a great set, especially if you want it to match your pans!

 "Love these for everything" 2009-04-19
By JJAM (Charlotte, NC United States)
I use these almost daily. They have a good weight to them, get into tight corners on deeper pots and pans, and as long as you don't leave them on the burner (oops), they will not melt. I love that there are 3 sizes, as I don't always need the largest, and the smallest one works great for quick spreading of frosting, or working a small pan of scrambled eggs.

The biggest thing is to make sure that if you are going to put them in the dishwasher, that you make sure the heads are well rinsed. IE, make sure there are no chunks, and if you see a think film (from gravy or dried eggs), do try to get it off, the silicone will keep it on the head (even with high temp washings). So, your almost better to do a quick hand-washing with them, but I put mine in the dishwasher for sanitation washings.

Great product, I would recommend these to anyone looking for great silicone spatula's.

 "NICELY PLACED OFFERING" 2008-12-17
By John (OH USA)
Having bought and pitched several spatulas over the years, I looked around for reasonable spatulas that don't suffer from the issues of "cheapies" .. This is a pretty nice offering. Its reasonably priced for high-temperature spatulas. This seems to be a signature of the practically-minded Rachael's tv personna.. most "famous" people place items at PREMIUM pricepoints.

The only complaint that I have is that the material that scrapes the pan (some silicon compound) is a bit stiff for me.. I find that it won't "bend to conform" to the container unless you really apply some muscle to it.

 "I'm a great cook. I know this stuff." 2009-09-20

These spatulas are poorly-designed. The edges are too thick, the handles too flimsy. They do look great, though.

 "Great Product" 2009-07-22
By P. Ferramosca (New York, NY)
What a great product! These turners are made with great quality plastic. Ultra light, yet very sturdy and can handle any job. This was my first Rachael Ray purchase and was a bit skeptical about the quality behind the name. I am very happy with this purchase, so much in fact, that I now own two sets quite simply because they are so fabulous to use; plus they look good in any kitchen. The two sizes are all you need, small and medium. I have yet to need a large one since these two do such a great job. I threw away all my other turners. Clean up is the best part, it's a breeze, nothing sticks to it. I absolutely recommend them.

"Nice but not good enough." 2009-06-30
By J. Atienza (Los Angeles, CA USA)
I have a silicone spatula and love it so much that I though this piece, along with Rachael's tongs and spoonula, will be a great addition to my silicone spatula. I was disappointed when I used one of the nylon turner to fry eggs and the tip burned and its top layer of plastic started peeling. I don't know if this is normal for this piece. The ONLY thing I'm happy about is that I got all three sets from TJ Maxx for the price of one set on Amazon. I'm glad I didn't spend a lot on something that is a huge let down.

 "cheaper in the neighborhod" 2009-07-27
By LJC (Honolulu)
I saw this spoonula set at Ross today (7-26-09) for $7.99 but Amazon is selling it for $14.95. They looked like decent enough spatulas/spoons though the seam between the handle and the spoon is layered and will require careful cleaning. Also the package advised against putting them in the dishwasher.

"Won't take the place of my other spatulas" 2009-07-01
By Midwest Deb (Kansas)
I really like my Spoonula set and the color is very nice. I made the mistake of thinking the Spoonula set would take the place of the regular spatula and I was wrong. I find it very difficult to scrape out a jar or a bowl with these. In all fairness that is probably not what they were intended to do; I should have done my research before purchasing.

 "great spoons" 2009-03-28

Sometimes you just need spoon and spatula - the spoon works better to stir but still need the spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl cleaner than a regular spoon- it's nice having both in one utensil! This is a nice set.

 "Better than Pampered Chef" 2008-03-16
By The Mom (Colorado)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000YDTTZ0/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title

I had purchased a Pampered Chef Mix N Scraper years ago and I have loved that thing, it's perfect for everything I cook. Scrambled eggs, rice crispy treats, anything in a skillet really. Mine is starting to show some wear after 9 years, so I figured I needed to buy a new one. At $13.50 for a new one through Pampered Chef, I thought I better see what else is out there. I saw this RR spoonula set and was on the fence about ordering it because alot of the copy cat spoonula/spatula items were horribly made. Well, would you believe I found this set at Marshall's for $7.99, snatched it up and it is the BEST. I would highly recommend this set. Even at $15 for 3, that is a great deal and you will love this item in your kitchen.

 "Good" 2009-10-11
By princessducky (Chicago)
It seems to work pretty well, but the only gripe is it seems to be made for right handers. As I'm a lefty, I have a hard time using them. I can see it flips the eggs, but I have a bit of a hard time since the slant is on the other side and it's hard for me to get under the eggs. I recommend it for right hand users, but not for left handers.

 "Must have" 2009-09-29
By Christy O'Dell (Jerome, Idaho United States)
I was a bit skeptical about these spatulas! Turns out they work wonderfully! They are angled, which makes it easy to flip. Thin enough and flexible to use with any thing! I have used these to cook eggs with no problem. Used them to dish up Lasagna. I love the blue color, its true to the picture. I believe I will purchase another set and replace all my spatulas with these!

 "Fabulous!" 2009-09-29
By E. Maddox (Alexandria VA)
I have wasted more dang money on silicone than I should have; finally tried Rachel Ray's nylon spatula set and both are absolutely wonderful for using in nonstick cookware. The silicone is big, clumsy, ugly, the nylon set here looks good and does precisely what it should do. I will be checking for further additions to my cookware utensils. She has a new fan. In the meantime, I can't even give away the silicone, no one wants them.

 "Lightweight but useful" 2009-07-03
By Savvy Shopper (Oregon)
These spatulas are a little less substantial than I imagined, but they seem to be able to handle fairly heavy loads. I'm a little nervous about using them in any really HOT pan. I bought them because they looked as though they would be good turners for anything very greasy or oily.

"Good but not sharp enough at the end" 2009-06-11
By D. Walker (Tennessee)
I bought a whole bunch of Rachael Ray cookware (love it!) and other Rachael Ray products from Amazon and got these turners amongest them. I like these overall but found that the edge that goes under the food could have been sharper. It's a little blunt which causes light foods to be pushed. For foods like burgers it's fine but for light, round breakfast sausage it just pushes them around the griddle instead of sliding underneath. I use my other, more traditional, turners in that case which easily slide under the sausage for turning. If these were just a little thinner at the end then it would be a 5 star product.

 "Great "turners"" 2009-04-19
By JJAM (Charlotte, NC United States)
Not great for breakfast foods, but great for most other things. I think they should be slanted a bit more for more control, but other than that they are good for flipping meats in pans, moving things around on a baking sheet, and good for some quick scraping on the bottom of a pan (though make sure you scrub the edge of it after, other wise it will hold on to the scrapings).

Eggs seem to slip off these suckers, and I quit using them after getting splattered with hot butter a few times.

Great for the George Foreman Grill!

 "A little too flimsy " 2009-04-08
By WittyNurse (Knoxville, TN)
I ordered the Rachael Ray cookware, spoonula set, and spatula set after Christmas 2008. After using it for 3 months, I can't say enough about how much I love the cookware (hard anodized) and spoonulas. The spatulas however are too flimsy to turn much more than an egg or pancakes. Mine are weak at the joint of the spatula and handle, making it dangerous if you're turning anything weighty in hot grease as it lands on the other side and the spatula springs back in place once the weighted item is off. Although I am disappointed in not being able to use my spatula set for more than eggs or pancakes, I am absolutely, thoroughly, in love with my cookware and spoonulas.

I LOVE this turner set! I have a set in green & orange. The colors are great! I have rachael ray hard anodized cookware & using these turners I don't have to worry about straching the non stick surface. Easy to clean too. I am in love with all Rachael Ray's products & just about have it all :)

 "really like these!" 2009-03-22
By S. Samuels
The main reason I bought these was the match the RR cookware set and cutlery set. They work well and are a nice variation to your typical spatulas. The only thing I would say is that they're not as sturdy as others I've had, so I would recommend them being your ONLY spatual set - might need a larger, more sturdier set.

I absolutely love this set of spoonulas from Rachel Ray. The large one is great for baking; the middle sized one is awesome for everyday meals; the small one is great for speading salads for sandwiches. Just remember to not leave them in a pot or pan too long... mine melted a bit.

"handy - but what's with the color?" 2009-06-10
By J. Guyette (Jericho, VT)
I bought these to replace another um... not-so-heat-resistant rubber/plastic spatula that I accidently melted. The wife wasn't amused.

However, we both think these are pretty darn good.

The slight spoon/scoop to them makes them useful when dealing with foods you want to serve.

They do a nice job of scraping the edge of a bowl, and most importantly...

they're heat resistant to like 400 degrees or more! Gotta like that.

But um... I think maybe a color other than construction-zone-cone orange might have been nice.

Oh well... still worth while.

"Rachel Ray is annoying but I love these things!" 2009-05-22
By L. Appell (oregon)
I am not a fan of made-up words like 'spoonula' but I am a fan of these things. Great for mixing sauces, dressings, tuna salad, etc., and they scrape the bowl CLEAN afterwards. Thick rubber and clever design makes them work way better than old fashioned rubber spatulas that melt in the pan, and they somehow require less scraping force.
