By Jim Porter
This whisk was a Christmas present, and my wife says she LOVES it. She says because of flexibility and hand grip comfort.

 "Whisk perfection" 2009-12-30
By ILoveGadgets (Florence, SC)
I needed a whisk that would be fine to use in the non-stick pots and pans as well as stainless. It is very comfortable to hold so a lot of whisking isn't hard or painful to do. It was made in the USA - a big plus. I don't worry as much about health hazards due to too much of one chemical or the presence of one that shouldn't even be there. After researching and finding that some dinnerware tested positive for lead (the items with positive readings were produced outside the USA and had colors and patterns all over the plates), I am much more cautious regarding any kitchen items.

"Black Onyx Color GORGEOUS. Whips Up A Beautiful Meringue" 2009-08-28
By Elizabeth
First, let me say that when you take this one out of the box, you will probably gasp. It is just that beautiful. The Black Onyx color is like nothing I have ever seen: extraordinarily rich. Then when you put that gorgeous color in a whisk of this quality, it becomes a spectacular looking kitchen utensil, almost like artwork for your kitchen.

This is one of several Le Creuset Black Onyx utensils that I own and treasure. As a Southern cook, I enjoy using it to make a batch of scrambled eggs or the meringue for a "Southern" banana pudding. It produces a great meringue with tall peaks.

All-Clad, Cuisinart, and other makers of fine stainless steel cookware recommend using wooden or silicone utensils, not metal. These Le Creuset silicone utensils are heat safe up to 800 degrees Farenheit! The silicone will not harm your beautiful cookware.

If you like this one, I suggest the Le Creuset Small Spatula, Black Onyx or the Le Creuset Pasta Fork, Black Onyx.

I first became interested in the Le Creuset silicone utensils after I purchased the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless Steel 12-piece Cookware Set. I have been thrilled with these utensils as they absolutely will not scratch.

You'll treasure this whisk. Highly recommended.

 "COMFORT is key!" 2006-12-27
By Paige Ferraro-Hakey (Orange County, CA United States)
I bought this after playing with them in Williams Sonoma. I had to have it so an Amazon search brought me to this one. The handle fits so nice in your hand & keeps my wrist from becoming tired too quickly. It also washes well too. Nice product & I will probably buy the other size wisks too.

"Where has this been all my life???" 2004-04-01
By S. Lawson (Florida)
I LOVE this whisk. I've only had mine a week and I've used it several times already. Before making this purchase I used a plastic whisk. It was gentle on my le creuset and nonstick cookware, but it was so thick that it didn't do an effective job. This whisk is just like a metal one, but safer. I think it's well worth the price.

 "It works, but....." 2009-10-01
By C. Chartier (Bellevue, WA United States)
I love the extreme high heat rating of this whisk. I was using it to pan roast coffee, so it was in a hot pan stirring for 20 or so minutes straight.

There is, IMO, one major design flaw. The nice "ergonomic" handle isn't well designed for long term use. It is an uncomfortable when used for more than a few minutes and it doesn't switch well from one hand to the other.

I think it would be much better served with just a normal cylindrical (symmetric) handle.

 "Gotta love this whisk" 2009-05-05
By VickiKay (Southern Indiana)
The title says it all! I have now purchased two of these in different colors because they are a delight to use. My arms do not tire out as quickly while trying to whip up a dish using this whisk. The whisk itself feels comfortable in hand while it mixes and aerates. You do have to be careful leaving it in the bowl unattended it is slightly heavy on the handle end. Delivery was timely. Planning on ordering a couple for gifts for my mother-in-law who has trouble with wrist pain.

 "Color not as shown..." 2009-01-27
By snowlaiden (usa)
I bought this simply for the color which is not the turquoise light retro blue shown but more of a darker teal... I would have liked to known this and would have not bought this one.

 "Worth every penny" 2008-05-29
By Melissa M. Bondi (Arlington, VA USA)
Even though several other cooks had recommended this whisk, I was skeptical about spending $20 for a kitchen utensil. I waited until I could get a good deal on shipping, and took the plunge. When it arrived, and I had a chance to use it....

Not surprisingly, Le Creuset has created another gorgeous, balanced and durable product. The handle is rubberized silicone, which is easy to grip and feels very comfortable in the hand. It's a good length for all kinds of bowls & pans, and is strong enough to handle thick batters and sauces.

I also own the larger Chef'n silicone-dipped whisk, which is also very nice. But I always reach for Le Creuset first.
