This is a wonderful kitchen accessory. It has a good neck on it to facilitate flipping & provide ergonomic stability. Use it for those Saturday morning pancakes, turning that awkward sized object, etc. The neck allows you to get easily into a high rimmed pan. The silicon does not scrape your expensive pans. Flipper is shaped to be used in a skillet with high sides. The silicon is reinforced with metal to stiffen the flipping area. If you use a flat pan with small sides, it could push the cakes around a bit before the flipper gets under them. Is most effective in a large pan with high sides as the handle is angled to work with the sides. Try to find a side view. Well made.

Nothing to special. A good price for a stainless set of utensils. Some kind of cushion grip would be nicer though. The meat fork is a little dangerous if you store it in the the can handle side down. You could turn it around but then it looks kinda weird. So just stick it in a drawer.

Not worth the time or money. As the other reviewer pointed out, it looks and feels cheap and looks nothing like what is pictured. I am returning it also since it was damaged when I took it out the box....most notably, the skimmer had a long scratch from end-to-end on the front. I'll be searching for something else.

While I like the size of these spatulas, the larger one is a bit heavy. I also don't like the feel of the wood. I am used to a much smoother wood grain. The raised grain on the handles make it a bit uncomfortable, and the raised grain on the spatula portion, raises concerns about cleaning. It seems that it would be easier for food particles to find a home in the wood. The Harold Imports Olive spatula, which I also bought has a better feel.

I just LOVE the smaller one for getting into pots and smaller spaces. The larger one is nice also; but I find the edge a bit thicker than I'd like. Therefore, I also own an HIC Harold Import olive wood one with sharper edge, which I LOVE! All in all, I'd buy these again.

I have been using these for awhile now. I love all her products. These are really easy to use. I Keep them from drying out by hand washing them and then adding a little bamboo oil to them about once a month. They show no signs of wear yet and I have used them almost everyday for atleast 6 weeks.

I have been looking for a rice paddle that was not too big since I have a small rice cooker, and one that was easy to wash. This paddle is perfect! It has a very smooth finish (not a varnished wood look though) thus making it very easy to wash, especially when the rice is really sticky! The paddle itself is pretty solid and is of good quality. A good buy!

There's not a whole lot you can say about a rice paddle but I can say that I'm very glad I bought it. It's sturdy, good looking and very inexpensive. The bamboo surface is smooth so it's easy to clean. It feels much nicer serving up rice with a bamboo paddle than with a plastic spoon. If you like cooking rice then you will absolutely be happy with this! Well worth the money.

In the end it's just a rice paddle. But this is a very inexpensive one that is great quality. Bamboo seems to last forever and this one has a nice look and feel to it. Better than I expected compared to some other really cheap ones I've bought before in the supermarket.



The existing picture is a bit misleading. The one I got has a small engraving in it's end (I think "Helen's Kitchen" but it's very stylized and kind of small, so the second word is almost illegible). And mine is a bit of a darker tan color as compared to the almost light yellowish-white look of the picture. It also has a hole in the end of it if you want to hang it somewhere, I guess.



I think I like what I got better than the picture led me to believe what I had purchased.
