"Almost as good as Grandmas!" 2009-03-16
By Lynnie B (Petaluma, CA)
Got this about a year ago to augment the spatula of my grandma, which is showing severe signs of wear. The Kuhn Rikon product has exceeded my expectations; the springiness of the steel is good, the design of the handle, while different from the other spatula, is very good. The machining of the handle prevents slipping, even with wet/greasy hands. The blade is a little harder to bend to shape the the other, but not enough to fret about. Good product!

Grandmas spatula can never be duplicated, and I still blow it a kiss from across the kitchen. Does anyone else have a 'favorite'(or hand-down)piece that ivokes the feelings, say, spirit of those past? Love to know...

What can I say -- it works wonderfully -- whenever you need to flip something when cooking this is what you need! It is great even for just mixing things like frying potatoes. Takes cookies off cookie sheets nicely. Use your imagination!

 "Flexi spatula" 2009-06-01

The product was just want my husband wanted but i was annoyed that shipping cost was so much. I also was charged a conversion rate on my credit card for one of my amazon purchases and haven't been able to find out which one.

 "fish spatula" 2009-05-28
By E. Sun (NYC)
This spatula worked very well for me and I'm a private chef. The smaller size works in a non-commercial setting and I suppose that the larger spatula may be useful for a restaurant's kitchen. I was concerned about the rounded handle but I found the grip was fine upon usage. I also liked the loop on the end for storage.

"The only one you'll ever need" 2008-06-23
By Martha O. Polasek
This spatula is the best. You can use it for anything!!!! It is lightweight and so flexible and excellent quality. I plan to give to my friends and family as gifts I like it so much. i also bought the 13" and it is really great for turing fish and steaks without making a mess I use them both to turn with no problem. It is so slim, that it does not interfere with breadings but can easily make short work of scraping drippings for gravy. Love it!!!

 "Good for the price" 2008-03-29
By Lynnie B (Petaluma, CA)
Guess I'm still looking for the vintage 1950, Holy Grail of all spatulas, the one I learned to cook with, the 'Batter Beater'. I was a little disappointed, too, that the blade was not as thin nor as angled as expected. Suggest Amazon attempt to show that critical bit of info in the future.

The spatula works well, though, and can be washed in the dishwasher. The handle gets slippery when greasy, although does not heat up when left on the edge of a hot pan - good news to those of us who are forgetful. It fits the curve of a pan or bowl, and it's truly a great multi-tasker: goes from helping break eggs for the omlette, beating them, and turning/plating said omlette with surprising ease, again, due to that tricky little curve at the end.

It has quickly become a favorite kitchen tool (second to, of course, the Better Batter Beater!). Strongly suggested, especially for the price.

 "Awesome" 2007-12-24
By KeitaroSempai (San Francisco, CA)
The edge of the spatula is too thick, but once I sharpened it down on a waterstone and put a polished edge on it, it outperformed my LamsonSharp spatula in terms of flexibility and abuse. You can really flex this thing and it'll bounce right back to its original shape. My LamsonSharp started getting pretty weak after 2 months of hard use.

4/5 stars for being too thick coming out of the factory, but nothing a handy person can't fix.
