Always had a hard time flipping pancakes (I make 'em big). This turner looked like the right stuff for use on my GE range's nonstick griddle, and it is, size-wise and flexibility-wise. However, the flipper's bevel is reversed so slipping the upside-down flipper under a pancake to check doneness is a cinch, whereas trying to slip it right-side-up under a pancake to flip or remove the pancake is quite problematic. Most of the time it results in a squished pancake.
Unfortunately, I didn't used the flipper until more than 30-days after receipt, so I'm going to live with it (though I may call Oxo... their Customer Service has been good to me previously).

I bought this turner to replace an old, battered, plastic spatula that we had had for about fifteen years. I've always been more than happy with the Good Grips products we've tried, so we purchased this one. So far, it's been great! It hasn't scratched any of our pots and pans, is as heat-resistant as it says it should be, and cleans up easily (food seems to wipe right off and not get caked on it, even if the food has dried a bit).
I actually purchased both this and the "small" Good Grips turner, thinking that this one would be more "normal" sized. It turns out that when Good Grips says "large," they definitely mean LARGE! (Silly me for not looking more carefully at the dimensions on this.) This is one large turner, and so far has served us best in serving up pizza slices, flipping quesadillas, etc. The smaller-sized one is more of the go-to turner we use for everyday cooking.

I got this with the 4-for-3 deal, thinking I'd only use it to remove cookies off the sheet after baking. Recently though, I've been eating a lot of quesadillas because they're quick and easy. I use burrito size flour tortillas to make a sort of quesadilla sandwich, with the filling between the 2 tortillas. The thing nearly takes all the space in my skillet, it's large. This OXO Good Grips large silicone turner is GREAT for flipping those quesadillas. Yes, I've got to be quick when I flip it as this turner isn't as big as my tortillas and I risk having the gooey filling slide out the sides, but if I'm quick it works great.
My skillet is actually a 12" T-Fal Jumbo Cooker so the edges of the pan come straight up, and with other turners it's tricky to flip the quesadilla as the tortillas take up nearly all the room in the pan. The flexibility of this Good Grips turner really helps with this.
If this silicone turner was the same size as my burrito tortillas, this turner would be perfect. :) As it is, it does the job very well, and still looks like new after several months of owning it. I'm pleased with it.

A good and sturdy turner with a surface to which food rarely sticks. It makes it easy to lift and turn foods that adhere to lesser products. This oversized for many uses but just right for pancakes or other foods that would bend or fold under if lifted by smaller turners.

Better than I ever expeced because of the metal inner spine. You get the best of both the non stick outside and the inner spine. I love it.
