I haven't found a good use for this yet; it is too thick for cookies (beveled edge rises too sharply), too flexible and a little too clumsy (see updated note below). I bought it to replace a nylon turner when I noticed the coating on the edge was peeling. Now I'm back at Amazon looking for another turner because this one doesn't do the simple jobs my nylon turner did.

UPDATE: I finally realized why this seems so awkward to me: The handle of the turner isn't straight and symmetrical, but curved, placing the flat part slightly off-center. The way it is designed probably benefits right-handed people, but it creates a problem for the rest of us.
