I WAS WANTING A "SPOON". THERE IS NO SPOON TO IT..I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED
AT THE PICTURE MORE CLOSELY. IT IS MORE FOR A LEFT-HANDED PERSON. WHEN I
HOLD IT IN MY RIGHT HAND TO STIR, IT IS WITH THE FLAT SIDE NOT THE CURVED SIDE.
THE MATERIAL IS REALLY NICE, AND WELL MADE, PERFECT LENGTH. I STILL WANT A
"SPOON" THOUGH. GUESS I'LL KEEP LOOKING. HARD TO TELL IN PICTURES.

In my opinion, the ISI line of silicone scrapers is the best available. Most silicone scrapers are too flexible, but the ISI has a rigid metal center that gives it the "umph" it needs to cleans the side of a mixing bowl of stiff cookie dough. The only drawback I have found is that the edge can become damaged by the edge of metal soup cans with pull-top openings. To prevent this, I open the can with a safety can opener to remove the whole top of the can and any sharp edes.
They are sturdy, fit in your hand nicely, and withstand hot pans very nicely.

This spoon is great for stirring candy on the stove. It doesn't get hot in my hand, and it's perfectly shaped for getting to the bottom of the pot and keeping thick liquids from sticking.

I'm still looking for an edged nonstick flipper/turner. This is as nice as the other reviewers who liked it say it is, but it is not firm enough to use to make cooked sauces or gravy from drippings.
