I purchased the Le Creuset rectangular silicone "Cool Tool" to use with my 3.5 qt. oval Le Creuset pot. It fits perfectly under the oval size pot. I have a several coolers, a red round one for my round red 5 qt. pot, etc.). It makes it easy for the kids to pick the right size cooler for the pot. I also sometimes use the round size coolers as pot holders. The rectangular one can also be used under a 5 qt. oval pot, but the ends of the pan will not be resting on the cooler. You will need to use two coolers side by side for really large oval size pots.
