I bought one locally, the store closed, so I looked online and was elated to find this. I need a long thin strong spatula to get massage creme out of a gallon container and into a tube. This one fills the bill quite nicely, and the price is great! Best of all, it doesn't hold onto odors like the more expensive Chef'n Switchit Silicone Spatula, which still stinks of flower scented dish soap after a dozen washings with a new dish soap and soaking in electric dishwasher solution.

The iSi Basics Silicone Slim Spatula description is 11"x1"x1". The blade width = 1 7/8", just slightly over 1.5". Length is just shy of 11"; actually = 10 7/8". Where is the other 1" measurement? Not as described. The spatula has a nice feel and seems sturdy. If you need a narrow blade to fit a very narrow jar, this is not the one to get. I am returning it, and looking for a narrow blade, if one exists.

I love this slim spatula - it fits into slim bottles, cans, and jars and easily wipes out every last remnant of food from these containers. Mayonnaise, mustard, preserves, peanut butter, honey - we now get every last trace of these items so we don't waste any. I highly recommend this product - easy to use, decreases waste, easy to clean.
