"Oxo Good Grips Small Wooden Turner" 2008-06-24
By Ginger Mendocino (Modesto, CA USA)
Excellent quality - much better than the supermarket type of wooden cooking utensil. This one should last quite a while. Highly Recommend.

 "Not a turner" 2008-04-03
By E. J Tastad (Marion, IA United States)
Despite the name, this is not useful as a turner since it is about 1/4" thick. It is better suited as a stirrer, but still not great for that as it has a flat edge (where a curved edge the shape of the pan would be better).

I bought this for filler for my free shipping, and I wouldn't buy another. The quality is good, but it is just not useful for the stated purpose. I will thin it up on my belt sander and hope it will work for a turner after I take 3/4ths of the material off.

"Spiffy spatula for the money" 2007-11-29
By Mary Ann Gantt (NC)
This small wooden turner works pretty well for stir fried foods. The only draw back is it is a little thick for an actual spatula - although it has a beveled edge. The bevel should go up a little higher. It would then be perfect as a turner or spatula and could handle eggs, etc.

Order this as a replacement. Decent quality one would expect from an OXO utensil. Great for using on non-stick pans!

"the perfect tool for your kitchen" 2009-03-28

"Almost as good as Grandmas!" 2009-03-16
By Lynnie B (Petaluma, CA)
Got this about a year ago to augment the spatula of my grandma, which is showing severe signs of wear. The Kuhn Rikon product has exceeded my expectations; the springiness of the steel is good, the design of the handle, while different from the other spatula, is very good. The machining of the handle prevents slipping, even with wet/greasy hands. The blade is a little harder to bend to shape the the other, but not enough to fret about. Good product!

Grandmas spatula can never be duplicated, and I still blow it a kiss from across the kitchen. Does anyone else have a 'favorite'(or hand-down)piece that ivokes the feelings, say, spirit of those past? Love to know...

How did I live without one for so long. It gets the whole fish filet onto a serving plate in one beautiful presentable piece!

"Takes flop out of flipping!" 2007-12-28
By T. Einarsen (WBG,VA USA)
What can I say -- it works wonderfully -- whenever you need to flip something when cooking this is what you need! It is great even for just mixing things like frying potatoes. Takes cookies off cookie sheets nicely. Use your imagination!

 "Just say no!" 2009-12-07
By wit_11 (Alabama)
I got these about a year ago. I tried using them several times after buying them, only to frustrate myself. Every time this bakeware is used, the smoke detector goes off about a million times.. and I'm not burning anything! Not to mention these things are so flimsy, it's hard to get things out of the oven without them spilling. Food DOES stick to the silicone as well if not sprayed. I only use this bakeware when I absolutely have to-- when my others are dirty.

"Outstanding buy, but one strange problem..." 2009-01-30
By N. Albert (Augusta, GA USA)
I trimmed the mat to fit my smaller pan, and it is really affected by heat, expanding so much my cookies were riding on moguls. Other than that, I love the set! I'm buying more for gifts tonight!

 "ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!" 2008-05-10
By BABY (Glendale NY)
My fiance got this for me for Christmas. LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!!. I LOVE to bake and using these silicone pans, I never have to worry about anything sticking to the sides of the pans and wondering if it's going to come out in one piece. It always comes out perfect!!! I would definitely reccommend these to family and friends.

"Silicone really is the solution" 2007-05-01
By Trivimp (Warrensburg, MO USA)
This set is a great value. I use the loaf pans, the cookie sheet liner, and the muffin pan all the time. And NOTHING STICKS! It's true! My old metal pans are hereby retired. You'll probably end up buying a few more pieces to round out your collection (like a second muffin pan) but this is a great starter set.
