The new Metro design Beater Blade for KitchenAid mixers is wonderful. My machine is 30 years old and has made hundreds of cookies, cakes, and quick breads. This beatter scrapes the sides as you go and ensures that all of the ingredients are mixed throughly. I give it a 5 star rating!

As soon as I received it, I made a batch of cookie dough and it was super! It really did scrape the sides of the bowl and it picked up all the flour from the bottom of the bowl! Awesome! I am ordering one for my Mom!

I loved this beater when I first got it...used it for everything. But when making cookies (not a large batch, not a stiff dough) it cracked right up the middle seam! I had owned it too long to get a replacement or full refund, even though Amazon is very good about returns. So sad.

I seem to go through these beaters a lot. Now that the new design is in place, batter gets mixed better, there is no chipping from the enamel coating, and the pink version donates to breast cancer research. Can't beat that!
